The Isle of Arran is known as Scotland in miniature. The most accessible Scottish Island with direct public transport links. In less than one hour the train journey goes direct from Glasgow central to Ardrossan harbour where there is also secure car parking. A 55 min ferry journey brings you to Brodick Pier and a 5 minute walk will take you to Carrick Lodge guest house in Brodick, an ideal base for any type of Arran holiday.
