In less than one hour the train journey goes direct from Glasgow central to Ardrossan harbour where there is also secure car parking. A 55 min ferry journey brings you to Brodick Pier and a 5 minute walk will take you to Carrick Lodge guest house in Brodick, an ideal base for any type of Arran holiday.
